Clicks for clips: MuVi Online from 1 April

This year for the 10th time viewers will have a chance to vote for their favourite video clip to win the MuVi Online Audience Award hosted by the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. All twelve nominees can be viewed online starting 1 April at www.muvipreis.de.
While an international jury will announce the official winner of the MuVi Award on 1 May in Oberhausen, viewers can already decide which German video should win the 500 euro MuVi Online Audience Award starting 1 April. Schorsch Kamerun’s Positionen for Die Goldenen Zitronen or Christopher Marquez’s HyBolt for Von Spar, Sönke Held’s Lightning Strikes for Felix Kubin or Benedikt Rugar’s Serenity for Vernon and Burns – all nominated clips were produced in Germany.

The clips can be streamed from 1 April to 1 May on www.muvipreis.de. Access to the polls is also available on the websites of MuVi Online partners: www.intro.de, www.tape.tv, www.3sat.de and www.byte.fm. The music video that gets the most clicks will be presented with the coveted MuVi Online Audience Award in Oberhausen on 1 May.
Audience Award winners in 2009 were Daniel Franke and Martin W. Meier for their clip Zum König geboren (Marteria).
