The NRW Competition is a showcase of current productions from North Rhine-Westphalia, home of the Festival and one of the most prolific film production locations in Germany.

Eleven German clips are competing for the 20th MuVi Award. Again the focus is on creative power and a wide range of formats and techniques and not on chart positions. The programme complemented by the MuVi International programme featuring international clips.
