Terms and Conditions

The International Short Film Festival Oberhausen acquires or rents films shown at its festival for the archive of the City of Oberhausen, which it also manages. The Festival has obtained non-commercial rights for public screening of these titles. All public announcements of any form and in any format in connection with the public screening of these films must be made under the title “From the Archive of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen”, or include our “Archive Film” logo.

Regular loans (10 or more titles per year) of short films as supporting films:

Archive films (up to 2013) will be charged at an extra 50%.


A copy processing fee of € 10 will be charged for individual films and existing programmes, and € 20 for newly curated programmes, along with transport costs and 7% VAT where applicable. No copy-processing fees are charged for the regular, discounted loan of single films.


The detailed conditions will be given to the borrower with the contract or upon request.
