Publications
During its long history, the festival has regularly brought out a number of publications. These include not only the festival catalogues and brochures, but also “Berichtshefte”, reports on the festival years 1961 to 1990 that contain the competition programmes, lists of award-winners and press reports as well as analyses of the most important award-winning films. Around 25 further publications treat various film genres and countries as well as selected topics. The publications are for the most part in German only. Most are still available for purchase.
