The 66th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen goes Online
The global spread of coronavirus calls for joint action. Our Festival, too, is among those that cannot take part as planned, due to a decree issued by the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs (MAGS) in North Rhine-Westphalia. But we believe that cultural offers should be maintained despite or rather especially in such a crisis and are working on an alternative online version.
We expect that a festival pass will be on sale from mid-April. Please find further information about our decision here (LINK).
We are currently planning to present our competition programmes and a number of additional programmes online, comprising an estimated number of 200 to 300 films. Please understand that at this point in time we are still working on the details. We will keep you updated via our website and our Social Media channels.
