Terms and conditions for submission in the 67th edition brief

Oberhausen is now calling for entries to the competitions of its 67th edition. Our focus is on new works with their own visual language, new perspectives and forms. Oberhausen's strength for 67 years has been its openness for the innovative, surprising, and original.

For each submission you have to fill in our online entry form. Please note: the production date for all submissions must be after 1 January 2020!

A film may only be submitted for one competition. Double submissions will not be accepted.

The submission of the first five works by one submitter is free of charge. From the sixth submission onwards, a handling fee of 20 Euros per film will be charged. The payment is a prerequisite for the admission of the film. Unpaid submissions will be deleted.

The date of receipt clause applies to all submissions. An extension is not possible.

Please find the detailed terms and conditions for submission in our regulations. Please note the various premiere requirements.
