Aquateque is a short film exploring the river Ruhr through a variety of new media technologies. The ecosystem of the surrounding is captured through audio, visual and 3d programming tools and transformed into a generative augmented space. The project combines artificial intelligence tools with computer generated images and overprocessed audio recordings of the flowing water to merge nature and computation in order to present a speculative perspective of the river.
