The personal video archive of Saulius Čemolonskas (1964-2017), a sound artist in London’s experimental music scene, is a melting pot for stories of migration, great optimism at the turn of the century, and creative energy generated by the internet and new digital technologies. After escaping the USSR illegally, via Israel, Saulius spent many years in the UK being ‘stateless’. His story is told via the memories of a friend and collaborator Laure Provost.
