Looking for music videos for the 22nd MuVi Award
The International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be awarding its 22nd MuVi Award for the Best German Music Video this year. The festival is now calling for submissions of clips produced after 1 January 2019. The prize is awarded for the best visual treatment of a piece of music and goes to the directors.
All submissions will be viewed by an independent committee who select the candidates for the MuVi Award. These will be presented at the award ceremony on 16 May. An international jury chooses the winners and distributes prizes worth a total of 3,000 euros. In addition, the MuVi Online Audience Award, along with 500 euros, will be awarded. From 15 April to 15 May, the clips will be available online on www.kurzfilmtage.de, where all Internet users can vote for their favourite clip.

Deadline for submissions: 25 February 2020
- eligible are music videos whose director and/or production are based in Germany
- maximum length 15 minutes
- produced after 1 January 2019
- prize money worth a total of 3,500 euros
