A music video prize has been awarded for the first time at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. The jury awarded the "MuVi" prize for a music video from Germany to "Sensorama - Star Escalator" by the directing duo Oliver Husain and Michel Klöfkorn. The award is endowed with 10,000 marks. The aim is to highlight the importance of the authors, who have rapidly advanced the formal language of the clip, and the increasingly experimental formal language of the genre, which emerges in the confrontation with music, video art and film.
