Bilderbuch originated from a 16 mm colour negative hand-processing workshop facilitated by Gustavo Jahn and Melissa Dullius at LaborBerlin film collective. Based on Walter Benjamin’s children's chronicle, the film is most often screened with a live reading about recycling scraps and waste for the purpose of critical engagement.
