Daylight

Daylight examines a site in Manhattan’s Chinatown where four iterations of a jail have been demolished and rebuilt since 1838. Observing justice architects in the process of designing new jails in the city, the film visualises the process of reformative justice design, looking at the language, renderings and imagery used to perpetuate the system that reform claims to dismantle.
