The Way Through The Woods

Black-and-white 16 mm images show a wood, dappled light, leaves, tree-tops and movement. The film also reveals traces of its hand processing, for which a plant-based developer was brewed from leaves from that very wood. The Pet Shop Boys video draws attention to what would disappear through the proposed destruction of this unique Emmaus Wood in Berlin-Neukölln.
