No Concept (Matmos)

Matmos’ most recent album was produced using a conceptual restriction: all rhythmic elements must be 99 beats per minute. Ninety-seven artists were contacted and asked to contribute. These elements were collaged together to form an ‘album’. To complement a selection from the album, Matmos created paper collages, and these collages were then animated by Matmos to create this video.
