About the filmmaker:
Vanessa Macedo has a Masters degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the University of Melbourne, where she has produced doco's on social change issues. She has been facilitating photography and video workshops with kids and youth in Berlin. She is very passionate about Media education and creative ways to engage youth in storytelling, history, and social issues. She has had the opportunity to work with diverse communities and it is very exciting to be able to explore and experiment with new ways of learning where youth can feel free to express themselves and learn through the use of creative artistic methods.
