“text me when you’re gone” is a set of experimental films inspired by a sonnet, haiku and villanelle. The poetic extracts explore love, loneliness and the fragmented female image within three short chapters.
About the filmmaker:
Fionnuala is an Irish filmmaker, she graduated from the National Film School of Ireland in 2020 majoring in cinematography. With a particular interest in female led documentary, she intertwines experimental visuals and narrative into the genre, with hopes of bringing a fresh approach.
